What is WorkSafeBC?

What Level of Training Will You Need?

There are a few main variables that will affect the level of first aid training you will require in the workplace. OFA 1 & OFA 2 Course Objectives

Both OFA 1 & OFA 2 courses provide trainees with essential knowledge for reacting and implementing life-saving techniques in the workplace. The OFA Level 1 is designed as a 1-day, 8-hour course. The OFA Level 2 is designed as a 36-hour, multi-day program. Pre-Requisites for OFA 1 and OFA 2

The pre-requisites required in order to take OFA 1 & OFA 2 are the exact same. Both courses require you to be a minimum of 16 years of age. Additionally, you must be physically able to perform the first skills required to attain the learning objectives and tasks.

Pre-requisites for Transportation Endorsement

In order to enroll in and complete the Transportation Endorsement, you must first complete one of either the OFA 1 OR OFA 2 courses. After completion of one of these courses, you are able to take the Transportation Endorsement.
