Loved the course! James, the instructor, made all the difference. I really enjoyed the pace of the class, and his approach with added humour such as the Ice Breaker video clip from the Office and the CPR Video with the Staying Alive song. It's clear that James is very knowledgable and answers questions from experience. The classroom space is very nice. I really appreciated that James turned down the temp. of the room to make it more comfortable, when I asked. I'm not always excited to re-certify every 3 years but James makes it a very enjoyable experience.

I signed up for a class in December which was cancelled (totally fair). Was emailed by Scott who asked if I wanted to go to a different class or get my money back (again, totally fine). I asked for my money back, Scott confirmed that the money was sent back. I haven't received it back after 5 weeks and now am in the process of fighting the charge through my credit card company.

I had a great experience in my first aid course with Maddy as the instructor. She was extremely engaging and informative, and explained everything clearly in a way that was easy to understand. She created a comfortable and supportive learning environment where everyone felt confident asking questions and participating. During the course, I had an issue where a previous knee injury became irritated while doing compressions, and Maddy handled the situation calmly and professionally. She checked in on me, helped me adjust, and made sure I was okay, which really helped ease my anxiety in the moment. Overall, she was an excellent instructor and made the course both enjoyable and educational.

This past weekend I attended a First Aid In Person Course with Scott as the instructor. He came to our dance and musical theatre studio in Coquitlam with all relevant equipment. I appreciated Scott's vast knowledge of the subjects covered and that he has real life experience as a first responder to back it all up. I would not recommend this organization at all.

I registered for two classes, and both were canceled at the very last minute with no prior notice. When I requested a refund, the owner ignored multiple emails and phone calls over an extended period.

It wasnâ€™t until I mentioned reporting them to the Better Business Bureauâ€”and possibly the authorities for fraudâ€”that I finally received a response. The owner blamed the issue on an â€œoffice managerâ€ and falsely claimed the refund had already been issued (which it clearly had not).

Although I eventually received my money back, the entire experience was extremely frustrating and raised serious concerns about the organizationâ€™s professionalism and integrity.

I recently took a first aid and CPR course with Scott, and I can honestly say it was the best experience Iâ€™ve ever had in a training class. Iâ€™ve taken first aid courses before, but Scottâ€™s teaching style was by far the most straightforward and easy to understand. He explained everything so clearly, breaking down each step and making sure everyone was comfortable before moving on.
What really stood out to me was how kind and patient Scott was. I usually feel anxious in classroom settings, but Scott created such a calm and supportive environment that I actually found myself participating multiple timesâ€”which is rare for me! He encouraged questions and made sure everyone felt confident in their skills.
If youâ€™re looking for a first aid course thatâ€™s not only informative but also genuinely enjoyable, I highly recommend taking it with Scott. Heâ€™s an amazing instructor who truly cares about his studentsâ€™ learning and confidence!
I actually feel like I will walk away remembering how to help someone in an emergency from this class!

I highly recommend this class. It drives home practical knowledge in a way that is interesting and realistic. I appreciated working through slides and quizzes before the class so I felt prepared, which left time during class for real-life (as real-life as possible) experience. 10/10 would do this class again.

Enjoyed taking this course. The knowledge is practical- I was taking it for personal reasons to be better prepared in the event of an emergency, whether at work or at home with my small children. The skills and steps in evaluating an emergency and how to respond were repeated into us until everyone could perform them in 2-3 minutes and then notify first responders while keeping a patient stabilized. I don't need to be a paramedic but I don't want to be a helpless bystander- this was a great course to take and Josh the instructor made it a fun, yet informative program. Worth checking it out!

I booked baby sitting class in the summer for my daughter which is 9-5 course. The day before, I received email mentioned the class will finish early at 4:15 because of small class size. That is fine. I can understand. But the instructor didnâ€™t show up until 9:30 ( I believe the instructor went to Vancouver because of wrong message from the school). When I emailed the owner for the updated finish time. I thought the class was supposed to finish later than schedule since it started late. The reply from the owner really surprised me. He claimed that the finish time wonâ€™t change. Then he started to complain that some students dropped off the class over night. Itâ€™s clear that he was not happy about it. No apology for being late, NONE! I understand people make mistakes. But late is late. He should at least say sorry ( even if you donâ€™t feel it) since itâ€™s in service industry. The reply is rude with no respect.
At the same time the class was poorly organized. My daughter told me that a lot of students including her donâ€™t even have a desk. They have to put notebooks on their laps.
Will definitely not recommend this school to my friends!

Updated Aug 7: I read the reply from the owner and would like to put comments.
1) for table: I asked my daughter and her friends who went with her also. All the girls said they only had chairs cause they werenâ€™t the first to enter the classroom. They were provided the option of using bench as table or writing on laps. So they chose to write on lap. There were NO enough tables.
2) for apology: I donâ€™t know if the instructor apologized for the late since I wasnâ€™t here. But Iâ€™m pretty sure there was no â€œsorryâ€ or anything like that from the ownerâ€™s email since I still kept that email in my inbox.
I have no intention to argue. Just would like to show some facts here.

** i signed up for the course within 24 hours of it to take place. On the website it says clearly the online portion must be completed prior to arriving for the in person part. I had the entire day before the class took place to do this online portion but it was not sent to me until 3 hours before the in person portion was to start. Not sure why it was available to book if so many people wanted into the class with less than 24 hour notice if it starting, it took 20 hours to recieve any communicatiom from primary first aid after they recieved my payment***Currently awaiting a resolution from the owner of Primary Care First Aid. Still hopeful despite the matter being in question for a period of months now. (April 20th payment was made for a course). Have not been given a reschedualed course date aswell as refused a refund. Owner didnt send the 1st part online portion of the 2 part blended course until 3 hours prior to the 2nd part in class portion of course was to take place. Making it near impossible for me to complete that or have the knowledge i was expected to still arrive in class without the first portion completed (completion was mandatory according to red cross and primary cares website prior to signing up).

I had to renew my Emergency childcare first aid with CPR/AED level B course and was dreading it. I always find the days to be so long and I donâ€™t usually donâ€™t leave with lot of practical knowledge.
But this time it was different I have never done one at this location and I was so shocked by how much I actually enjoyed the class. I felt like I learned so much more knowledge and practical things that I could use in my job setting. It was very hands-on and I feel like it was really easy to follow. I definitely wonâ€™t be dreading the next time. I have to renew my first aid. Thank you so much.

They are very pathetic and they donâ€™t even reply to the calls of the students. Moreover,if the student inform them 4 days prior of their start period to refund their fees they donâ€™t take any action. The refund policy is also written on there website. As per there policy they says that person should inform 24 hours prior. They work against there policies.

I took the blended format for a Standard First Aid with CPR Level C, Scott highly qualified fire fighter was my instructor in the in person class, he made this certification very pleasant/enjoyable and after we finished I felt highly comfortable with the skills and knowledge acquired, he added audiovisual material and managed to convert the class interactive while fun at the same time.

I attended an infant CPR training course at chorus & clouds, Scott was a great instructor who was able to provide great examples based on real experiences of what to look for, things that can happen, and tips on how to set ourselves up for success. We used CPR dummies for practice compressions on adult and baby sizes and overall the class was super helpful, and I feel more confident I can do the right thing if ever in that situation now.

Our instructor was super great, he was a veteran of the firefighters and knew his stuff!!! He was awesome, got down to business and never boring ðŸ¥± and always had a story to set as an example !!! Terrible communication and unorganized. I reached out to the instructor the morning before the course letting them know that I was sick. I also didnâ€™t receive a reply so I messaged them on their phone later that night. He doesnâ€™t get back to me until the next day during the course and saying that he canâ€™t reschedule/ no refund. I assumed since itâ€™s a cpr course they wouldnâ€™t want me to give Covid to people in the class but I guess he doesnâ€™t care about others health.

I did the CPR/AED Level C training here for the first time (I had previously done the same training at a different place) and this First Aid training with Primary Care First Aid was GREAT!!

The instructor was Scott and he did an amazing job being very engaging and asking questions and also listening when trainees would be answering questions or just giving their thoughts or blurbs. He threw in jokes and made it a very relaxed and positive environment for everyone (a few trainees made the same comment as we left on the elevator).

Scott made sure that we all got as much hands-on practice as possible to ensure that muscle memory but also to ensure we felt comfortable performing the actions related to CPR/AED administrator.

I highly recommend this location and also highly recommend Scott! I'll definitely be back to recert at this location.

This is the second year that Scott has been our recertification instructor and he is beyond excellent. He is able to relay real life situations to give us a practical and real life view of the skills we may need to utilize in an emergency situation. Scott led us through the program with efficiency and humour! He continually posed questions so that the theory unfolded and made sense. The program was extremely helpful. There was just enough practice to make you really take it seriouslyâ€¦those chest compressions (two per second) are hard and I still havenâ€™t got â€œStayin Aliveâ€ out of my head! Best customer service from Scott by email communication ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ The blended certificate course allowed me to study the content at my own speed, comprehend, and be prepared for the class before the class. The class size was small and easier for us to interact and learn.

My instructor, Vanessa was fun, welcoming and engaging. She is also an experienced fire fighter and gave us many examples including emergency situations she encountered in her off time. She made it easy for us to actively participate and learn, and helped us become confident with the skills and knowledge we got.

I was a very different experience from the first aid class I took at a different company 3 years ago. The instructor wasn't easy to understand, no student wasn't participating and the 6 hours course felt like 9 hours.

We had Scott come to our house to teach the Infant CPR to us as we are first time parents and we wanted to be prepared for starting our little one on solids. We had our immediate family attend the training as well so that we could have peace of mind when leaving them with our daughter. Scott was a fabulous instructor who was able to provide us with his knowledge and own personal experience on infant CPR.
