Designed to build participant confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills in a team environment for professionals with a duty to respond. Teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation including use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy can also be added as additional certifications to this course.

Audience
This includes people who work in hospitals, like nurses, doctors, and dentists or dental hygienists working with sedation. It also includes first responders such as firefighters, rescue teams, lifeguards, and ski patrol.
Recertification Information
Please email scott@primarycarefirstaid.ca with a copy of your current certificate if the recertification course is needed. In the email please also provide the course date/location you’d like to attend. A valid Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider) certificate needs to be verified prior to registering for our recertification course. Once your current certificate is verified, we will then email over an invoice to make payment for the course date/location of your choosing. The recertification class is from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at our Surrey location and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at our Vancouver location on the below posted course dates.
After successful completion of the course, each participant will receive a 1 year Basic Life Support certification from the Canadian Red Cross.
